Somerston Hotels owns and operates 33 hotels across 3 international brands totalling in excess of 3900 rooms throughout the UK. 2005 proved to be a milestone in the company's development with two major acquisitions taking the company from 15 hotels to 31. The first was the purchase of 3 Express by Holiday Inn hotels from the Saltire Leisure Hotel Group and the second was the purchase of 13 from the BDL Hotel Group; these acquisitions provide excellent additional geographic coverage to our existing portfolio.
