Old Court House Inn - Jersey

The original buildings date back to 1450. The front portion of the property, originally "Osborne House" was a wealthy merchants homestead with enormous cellars which from the 17th century stored privateers plunder alongside legitimate cargo. The fine Granite "Newel" staircase is part of the earliest construction and displays evidence of fortification in its style. It may be found beside the Restaurant and now leads to the bedrooms above.
