The Glen-Yr-Afon is a privately owned Victorian Villa situated in the lovely rural county of Monmouthshire in South Wales. The original house was built in 1868 and overlooks the banks of the River Usk. The small picturesque town of Usk is just a stroll from the Hotel. The attractive former market town boasts many places of historical interest including the town bridge, Usk castle, a Rural Life Museum and Twyn Square which is a riot of colour in Summer during the flowering season.
