The Muthill Village Hotel - Crieff

The hotel was built in the late 1700's to accommodate drovers and travellers who used the old drovers route which took them through Muthill on their way to the southern markets of Scotland. The hotel is ideally situated at the gateway to the highlands yet only 1 hour from Glasgow or Edinburgh and only 30 minutes from the provincial cities of Stirling and Perth. The village of Muthill is a picturesque and charming little village along with its ancient tower and church it has some 90 listed buildings, its own golf course and a museum.
