We pride ourselves, as an independent family business on offering personal service to our guests. The Macdonald Hotel is situated at the foot of the Mamore Mountains, beside a tidal creek at the head of Loch Leven where the river Leven flows into the Loch. We are ideally located mid-way between Glencoe and Ben Nevis. The West Highland Way footpath is only 25 metres away, directly across the road.


We are a small privately owned restaurant with rooms. We have 7 lovely bedrooms and a really good restaurant serving delicious homemade food. We try not to be pretentious, preferring instead to be informal and friendly, but we are still totally committed to quality and service.
