The Crown Hotel is situated in the beautiful Ribble Valley and is one of the few hotels in the Yorkshire Dales National Park which actually stands on the Pennine Way. The nineteen bedrooms are individually furnished, five with four poster beds and three deluxe rooms. All have private bathrooms and facilities include direct dial telephones, radio, colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press and hair drier. (All rooms are non-smoking)
It is believed that The Golden Lion was a coaching inn during the sixteenth century and the old coach highway can still be followed on foot.
