Came here for dinner only. Amazing location, beautiful, airy interiors but some of the staff were rather unhelpful and gave off a snooty vibe. Yes you're in Wiltshire but calm down, it's not Windsor Castle. Request for a particular digestif was met with a sharp "no" without any recommendation for alternatives. Felt like by that point they just wanted rid of us. Not a great feeling, especially when spending a small fortune. If only the staff met this restaurant's impeccable locale. Food was decent, though. Nothing to write home - or on Google - about, though, so I'll stop there.

Visited the Gumstool Inn (part of Calcot Manor) for lunch. Great service from a friendly team. Expansive menu and wine list.

Should be six stars! Arrived at requested time. A table was reserved for us. Towels, slippers and dressing gown in complementary bags waiting for us. Coffee and tea also offered, then we were shown around the facilities. Colleagues could not do enough for us. Facilities fabulous. Last went here 17 years ago and it's even better than my last visit. Treatments fantastic. Special shout out to my therapist for the day. Thank you so much. Will not leave it so long next time!
