I would highly recommend afternoon tea at Cedar Manor. We was welcomed warmly by the couple that runs the hotel and we were seated in the beautiful dining room. Once we had selected our chosen tea, we were served with a scrumptious savoury starter of, homemade soup and a cheesy/potatoey appetiser. We then was greeted by array of fresh scones, cakes and pudding galore. So many sweet treats we requested a doggy bag to go! The attention to details that Cedar Manor put into our afternoon tea was top notch. All for a really decent price

Cedar Manor was the perfect choice for our stay exploring the Lake District. It was in a central location in Windermere and right next to a bus stop as we chose to not have a car. It felt like staying at a luxury hotel without a super high price. The staff were extremely kind, the breakfast was delicious, and the room was so comfortable with a lovely jacuzzi tub, little truffles waiting for us, and delicious tea and biscuits each day. There was a cozy lounge with a bar to relax in as well. Overall, it was the perfect stay and we can't wait to return!

Excellent. From the moment we arrived Jonathan and Caroline made us feel really welcome. The bedrooms were immaculate with little extras that made all the difference. Breakfast was excellent, with great choice. We also had afternoon tea (which was by far the best afternoon tea ever) sat outside in the wonderful garden in the glorious Cumbrian sunshine. A fantastic couple of nights away which was the perfect end to my birthday week. Thank you both.

A HUGE shout out for Cedar Manor's (festive season) afternoon tea! With a wonderful attention to detail, the food was very tasty (the little pigs in blankets and mash potato went down a storm!), really beautifully presented and all home made. Plus a fab range of tea blends to choose from. As a really nice touch the hotel was more than happy to make us just plain scones for our group of 8. A well deserved 5 out of 5 for their food, their care, helpfulness and friendliness.
