We arrived, were told clearly where to park the car which was a short walk away and all the information that we needed for the one night stay. The room was just like the photos, a little dated but clean and absolutely fine. We all had a great night's sleep, the bar was lovely, the pool tables were great for the kids and the all around service was outstanding. The breakfast in the morning was really well organised, but didn't taste great. Again, the service of the staff was what made everything so good and why this place deserves 5 stars, particularly for the reasonable price.

We stayed for 1 night, we booked 2 rooms a double for me and my wife and a disabled access for my nan and grandad and the hotel really delivered. The rooms were fantastic, the disabled room was really spacious with loads of rails in the bathroom. The staff were mega helpful and we have even booked again for next year

Excellent service. Staff lovely. Breakfast very good very good choices. clean white table linen and crockery. Ditto bed linen. Very helpful staff on reception too. Only cons that I would personally note are. The sma white and black cups are very awkward to get a grip of esp with hot drinks in, as handles very small. Bathroom sufficient but very small shower area around the actually toilet, unless you're a small framed person.
Large reception and bar area, when we visited it seemed hardly used and in the eve ft cold, but it was a w/e in Feb with very bad weather. Just wished they served eve meals. Overall we would stay again. Carol and Alan G. Feb 2022

Reasonable bed and breakfast seaside guesthouse. Nothing spectacular, but nothing spectacularly bad, either. Some tired decor, very narrow staircase and corridors, noise from adjacent room heard through walls, comfortable bed, basic facilities in room, acceptable breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. What one would expect from a classic seaside guesthouse but not a patch on Premier Inns. Well located for the beach front, station and Winter Gardens/ Conference Centre.
