Nice guest house considering the price/quality ratio. Did not try the breakfast service but comfortable room and very friendly staff. Just a note for mattresses that need urgent change.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! I wouldn't let my dog stay at this "hotel". The Chinese couple who own this place, Diamond house, are FRAUDSTERS! They double charged me for two nights when I only stayed for one. They did this by holding my initial transaction, then two days later charged me for another one. When I realised on my bank statement. I rung Diamond house to be told by the man he doesn't even have a record of my correct transaction on the night I actually stayed or the one two days later, on the night I didn't stay.
His conclusion was that he could not help me at all and go and find out myself. THEY ARE DAYLIGHT ROBBERS! And I have also found out I certainly am not the first person who has experienced this. Also the place is tired and run down, bed not comfortable, dirty, TV didn't work. The list goes on!

My wife and I had a warm welcome at diamond house, very handy especially with the free parking and was close to the town centre. We will definitely be back.
