Ideally located in beautiful Monmouthshire within easy access of the M4 we are a privately-owned family-run hotel in Usk. We welcome children and have two larger family rooms (each sleeping 4/5) within the Hotel as well as the beautiful Stable Cottage that sits within the Hotel grounds. We have been welcoming families back year after year to enjoy spending time in the South Wales area fishing in the nearby River Usk, having a golfing break, walking, fishing or taking a trip to the coast.We also welcome guests visiting Wales for the RBS Six Nations Rugby at the Principality Stadium - you can be assured of a cheerful welcome for this popular sporting event!

Usk has been keeping a secret, or rather the Glen-Yr-Afon Hotel, situated just a few minutes walk from the centre of Usk, has. The secret is the hotels restaurant, Clarkes. Dining is available in our oak-panelled Restaurant and the Dining Room which opens onto a courtyard. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and is included for all of our guests staying on short breaks, on business or as part of a wedding.
