Went for a day out with a group we had lunch and dinner at the horizon. The staff were really nice, food was good. Only problem we had was our group seating had to be split due to an error somewhere, some where placed upstairs others down. I didnt see any of the rooms as we only had food. As expected the bar was a little pricy but thats to be expected with it being a hotel. Nice walking distance from the town centre.
Very close to the beach and close to the big playpark for kids. There is plenty of places to eat near-by and activities available too. If visiting by car there are other places to visit for activities short driving distances away.

I really liked this Hotel. Clean rooms. Great staff who see to your every need. The food was excellent, from the Breakfast to evening meal. Will definitely be back in the future.

Me and my partner have been for a few overnight stays over the past few months love this place the food is 1st class as are the staff and the rooms are spotless we had a sea view which was brilliant cheers everyone at the Horizon

If I could have given 3.5 then that would have been more appropriate. As it is, I've taken a more optimistic view and went for 4. Its well positioned, well priced, and adequate for a one or two night stay. That said, the room was somewhat cramped and very dated. Shower was a little underpowered (and I'm not a fussy person) and the bed and sheets were a little 'stiff'.
