Our 12 en-suite rooms offer modern comforts with walk-in showers, complimentary Wi-Fi, and tea/coffee facilities. Nine rooms feature prime sea views while south-facing options showcase historic Hugh Town architecture. All rooms include hairdryers and climate control for guest comfort.
Breakfast Service
We provide freshly prepared breakfasts using local ingredients including free-range eggs from St Mary's farms. Vegetarian and gluten-free options available with advance notice. Meals are served in our dedicated dining room with harbour views during peak season.
Licensed Bar
The licensed bar operates three evenings weekly (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) from 6-8pm. Guests can enjoy drinks on our beachfront patio with uninterrupted sea views. Selection includes local ales and standard bar beverages in a relaxed maritime setting.
Luggage Delivery
For guests arriving by Scillonian ferry, we coordinate with independent courier services to deliver luggage directly to the hotel. This service requires pre-booking and incurs a small additional fee for oversized baggage handling.

What are Schooners' check-in times?
Check-in is available between 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM daily. Please inform us of your expected arrival time in advance.

Yes, we have family rooms accommodating 2-4 people with distant sea views, priced from £260 to £400 per night based on occupancy.
Are pets allowed at Schooners?
We do not accept pets except for registered guide dogs. Please contact us directly for specific accessibility requirements.
Is there car parking available?
Taxis can drop off guests directly outside our door. While we don't have private parking, local taxi services provide reliable island transportation.
How do I make a reservation?
Bookings require a £50 per person deposit. Full payment is due 30 days before arrival. Online reservations are available for bed and breakfast packages.
What cancellation policies apply?
Cancellations within 30 days incur 75% charge, while those within 24 hours require full payment. Deposits are non-refundable.

2 star rated but 5 star quality, I had a single room with a sea view, small, compact, clean and tidy. The food was very good, particularly the breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful.

This hotel deserves a 6 star not a 5 star rating. All the staff and I mean all of them are so helpful and considerate to one's needs or problems. We had a hiccup with the shower in the room and it was fixed within the hour. Fully recommend this hotel for any visitors and can't wait to return to this central hotel on St Mary's island. Thank you for this enjoyable visit.

This was our first trip to St Mary's and so glad we stayed here. The location is very central and perfectly set by the harbour with great views. The staff were excellent, some of the best service I've experienced. We ate breakfast at the property every day and had dinner there 2 nights out of 6. My husband and I are both vegan, the staff and chef were incredibly accommodating, and the food was genuinely delicious! Beds were comfy, rooms were spotless and all facilities great. Couldn't reccomend enough to anyone staying on the island!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Schooners Hotel. Excellent food, very pleasant and helpful staff. Lovely patio to sit out on (over the harbour). It is also very convenient for the harbour and the town. We would definitely stay here again
