I was moved into the main building from the annex, which I thought would be an upgrade, but I instead spend the week living in a building site! Significant refurbishments underway without prior warning or consideration for guests. Hotel was a mess, work materials left down corridors, contractors working from 7am (lovely wake-up call!). The room was relatively recently refurbished, but wasn't completed to a high standard.
The walls/ceiling aren't very thick and was woken twice in the night by people showering in other rooms and the sound of water gushing through pipes. Decided to swerve the bar/restaurant given the state of the place and reading other reviews I made the right choice! If this had been a trip for leisure rather than business (meaning I had to be up relatively early and was out the hotel most of the day) then I'd have checked out after the first night. Lovely location, very poor hotel!

The surroundings outside are amazing but keep clear from here. I expected to receive a nice room but no ended up in a downstairs room with single glass and as soon as you opened the door the bed was there. It was cold, dirty and lacked privacy. Extremely disappointed a d a waste of money

Booked a room for a last minute escape to Bath. Really friendly staff (especially the South African receptionist) and a great location. It's sat right on the river and I was lucky enough to have a room looking over it. Unfortunately the hotel was under renovation when I stayed so I can't comment on the interior facilities. Even with building works going on the staff made sure noise was kept to a minimum and it was honestly no disruption whatsoever. The hotel is about half an hours walk to the city centre, or 2 minutes to the nearest bus station. I would most definitely stay again.

Excellent value for money given it's great location right on the River Avon and only a short drive from Bath. Food was good and the staff very friendly. Rooms are clean and tidy, nothing too fancy as it is only a 3 star hotel but definitely one of the better ones. Breakfast is particularly good!

Stayed in Bath an extra night because of Storm Eunice but was wanted to find somewhere more affordable than the hotel we were staying in the centre of Bath. The Old Mill, what a great little find. Perfect spot on the river. 30 minute walk along the canal into Bath centre. Basic but pleasant and spotlessly clean room. Delicious food served in the restaurant on site however lots of lovely pub options close by too. Would stay here again.
