Everything about it was 5 star. The rooms, the staff and the food. Third visit in six months and already looking forward to the next, which will be very soon. Highly recommended. Wouldn't stay anywhere else having experienced the Imperial.

We were initially going to book another hotel at the far end of the fairground. Then my wife saw The Imperial Hotel and we are SO glad she did! The hotel has sufficient car parking and right away the warm welcome on arrival was lovely. Room was just as we expected with a superb view over The Waterways and sea view to boot! A lovely walk along the front soon brings you to the attractions and more. Would I/we recommend? ABSOLUTELY! But don't tell everyone as we will definitely be returning so, keep it to yourself, so we can get a room when we rebook!

Fantastic Jubilee afternoon tea, staff lovely, nothing was too much trouble. I can't give a star rating for the rooms as we didn't use one, but if the rest of the hotel is anything to go by, I would think they would be good too.
