Great place, warm and friendly welcome. Drink and food order taken straight away. The food arrived pipping hot and freshly cooked. I had the bacon burger with hand cut chips and my partner had the battered haddock with the hand cut chips, we shared a portion of onion rings - I was expecting 4 or 5 and we got 10+ Would definitely go back if in the area again

Came here for dinner tonight. Ordered a steak. This was a mistake. It's not hard to get steak right, particularly Scottish steak. But it was tough, grey and tasteless. The peppercorn sauce was bland gravy mixed with pepper. Not even pepper corns. Just pre ground pepper. The steak wasn't flame grilled either. And to top it all off, we weren't given any steak knives so my plate went wandering round the table quite a bit. Pleasant atmosphere and staff were friendly.

They're famous for their muscles and I see why, all the food is fresh too and the staff is friendly. Very good location and would recommend

Very nice traditional welcoming place.good honest food.excellent beer.sit outside and marvel at the oil rigs service station. Recommended.
