A very happy stay at Moor Hall with family visiting from Canada. A lovely welcome at reception. Considering hotels are struggling with staff issues at the moment this hotel managed this well. A busy hotel for wedding parties so at times difficult to find a seat in lounge bar area and breakfast restaurant claustrophobic and too warm. However definitely one of the best " Best Westerns."

Enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea. All needs were met and catered for. All the food was fresh and enjoyable. Plenty of choices. Good selection of drinks available. Diet coke available at no extra charge instead of hot drink. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Excellent service. Would totally recommend

A great hotel with plenty of character for weddings or a weekend break. Hotel is surrounded by a golf course and residential properties making it very quiet. Quality of food is good, especially breakfast. Staff very helpful. Plenty of space in their car park. Overall we had a good stay.

We booked very last minute after leaving a truly awful nearby hotel after half an hour (it was just too awful to stay). The hotel was lovely, the room, the bar area, dinner and the staff were all great. Especially the lady at breakfast. We were staying the night before a conference at the Belfry and I have to stay that the Moor Hall hotel was much nicer, our room better quality (they need to sack the painter at the Belfry) and the service also much friendlier. Would be my first choice if in the area again

We stayed for two night in a family room just before Easter 2022. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable beds and lovely and warm. Everything worked, not a small feat for a hotel room. The grounds were lovely, with a large golf course at the rear of the hotel. The spa was nice, decent sized pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. It never seemed overcrowded. Staff really polite and helpful, the ladies serving breakfast were a joy with our kids and gave good recommendation a for a walk through Sutton park which is close by.

The hotel had an Easter walk in the sunken gardens which was beautifully lit up at night. We ate at the hotel for breakfast and dinner - breakfast was great, good choice of hot/ cold options, we had dinner in the garden kitchen which was a carvery with a couple of other options- top quality and amazing Yorkshire puddings! Really good value stay for 4 with breakfast and dinner

Absolutely outstanding stay. The hotel is not modern but well kept, clean and tidy. It has a traditional country house feel. The common areas are nicely presented in wood. The breakfast is spot on and the coffee is actually amazing unlike the dishwater most places serve. 3 course carvery for about 20 during the week do whats not to like. However the best thing about the place are the staff, truly friendly helpful and dedicated. Whilst staying I observed them dealing with a difficult customer who was frankly an up herself cow out to abuse some young person.

They remained polite and professional. The serving staff at breakfast were attentive, polite and had a great sense of humour. It was a work trip but if I was looking to stay on my own coin I would absolutely book this hotel. Everything right about hospitality was demonstrated by the team here.
