My motorbike broke down, so I stopped at this hunting lodge. Although it was closed, the owner was very friendly and offered us tea while we waited for the AA.

Lovely young couple! Great hotel in a beautiful location. We actually stayed here the night before and of our elopement, and we were looked after so well. Above and beyond, for which we were very thankful. The rooms were great, beds super comfy, shower was the best I'd ever had, and the food and drinks delicious too. Looking forward to staying here again in the future! Thank you so much. Harry and Lauren

Interior design is an eclectic mix of Victorian and industrial, I loved it. Very comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. The breakfast was lovely.

We stayed here back in October and could not fault a thing. It was a shame we couldn't buy any drinks from the bar because of Covid but it didn't detract from our experience. Our bedroom was beautifully designed with luxurious soaps and shower gels. We find it's rare to come across a hotel so stylish at such a reasonable cost up North (with a few other notable exceptions) so we were really pleasantly surprised by our stay. 100% recommend! Thank you! Also, spotlessly clean.

We had the most amazing stay here! Honestly felt like home and I can't thank the lovely owners enough for looking after us so much. The rooms are gorgeous. They're incredibly stylish, especially the one with the huge roll top bath, it was absolute luxury. Breakfast was amazing and we're so sad we didn't get chance to have dinner here. Will definitely be back very soon and cannot recommend this place enough.

Loved staying here, only regret was I was only here one night. You are looked after really well. My wife had a bit of morning sickness and the owners couldn't help enough at breakfast in the morning. The people that run this place are so friendly and welcoming and this is a real gem tucked away in beautiful countryside. Or room was great and bed really comfortable.

Had a lovely two-day stay! Comfy beds, super friendly owners, and a fantastic breakfast! Seriously, the best hotel breakfast we've had in a while! Unfortunately our bedroom wall was very thin, but overall we did have a great experience!

Our stay at Suie Hunting Lodge was a cozy dream! The owners were incredibly thoughtful, gracious, and welcoming. My husband and I sat in the living room in front of the fire most of the afternoon and evening, the perfect recovery for jetlag. The meals were fresh and DELICIOUS. Our room was comfortable, and the bathroom lovely (esp. the clawfoot tub!). We only spent one night there and wish we had time for a few more. We hope to be back someday! Many thanks for a memorable, wonderful stay.
