Enjoyed our stay here. Reception and breakfast staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Good choice for breakfast. Easy 10 minute walk to the city wall, pubs and restaurants.

Stayed for 2 nights in fourposter bed room 15 on a b@b basis from april 18 to april 20th. Bed was very uncomfortable stained covers on bed and drapes room very dark and no window in the room toilet was very small and shower was very dofficult to get at right temperature without being scolded temperature without being scolded. No door on bathroom just a dirty curtain you pulled across for privacy. We checked out a day early as couldnt stand another night in this room deffo wouldnot stay at this hotel again.

Lovely place. Everyone was absolutely lovely with us. We chose to have breakfast included with our rooms and it was ok. All staff was very nice and ready to help. The hotel looks nice. The room was very small but cozy. The only downside was that it was so hot. We had to keep the window wide open at all times as the heating was on all day. Apart from that we had a good time.

Lovely welcome when we arrived the room was nice a little dated but it was lovely and clean adequate drawer space could maybe do with a few more coat hangers. Tea and coffee and biscuits in the room. Getting the temperature on the shower was a little tricky but at least the water was hot. There is a nice little restaurant area and the food was tasty and a decent choice. The staff were absolutely lovely friendly and helpful. There is also a small outdoor seating area and a bar. There are some parking spaces at the rear of the hotel.

We stayed in the four poster bedroom. It was lovely, clean and warm. The bed was really comfy. The bathroom was clean and had everything you need. Tea/coffee making facilities were available. Nice friendly staff. Only a ten minute walk into the centre of Chester too
