Highly recommend this venue. The attention to detail and customer focussed staff add to the great central location. Great pricing offering good value. Only thing I'd say is book direct with them - not via booking.com. Booking.com were really obstructive in managing the details of our booking but the staff on site were absolutely amazing.

The location is great and all in all a nice place. Rooms were clean and fairly modern and staff all very friendly and helpful. Problem is that pipes in the walls were creaking and banging all night, almost every hour. It made it really hard to get a good night's sleep which is a shame because everything else was good. It's nothing fancy but it's great value for the price.

Nice looking pub with friendly staff but unfortunately the food was terrible. We ordered a couple of pizzas and they were clearly frozen and not freshly made, which would have been alright if they weren't almost 14 each, I've definitely had better from the frozen isle for 3.

I'd love to give a review on this hotel but unfortunately they left the wrong key in the safe box for me, so when I turned up at 11pm I could not enter the building. Seemed nice from outside though as I gazed through the window looking for someone to let me in. Had to check into another hotel at 1am as the emergency call out guy never showed up. Maybe our keys got mixed up and he was locked out of his house too. I'll try again soon as it seems like a nice little B&B apart from the mix up to be fair.

It's in a fabulous position, the bed is fantastic, Bathroom looks newish, but paint peeling. Curtains hanging off track. We had tea, and whilst perfectly acceptable, all was from Iceland or equivalent. Would benefit from some home cooked meals. Not bad really, for the money was excellent
