We have dined here several times - both as a couple and as a family at its various restaurants. The gorgeous setting sets the perfect mood for a relaxing time. The sprawling green are a treat for the eyes and a leisurely walk before/ after the meal is rejuvenating. The food is excellent to taste and beautifully presented. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We always look forward to visiting Celtic Manor once in a while and the experience stays with us for long!

Decided to have a mini honeymoon here to celebrate the occasion. The venue itself is great. Beyond the main building are several other expansive buildings, each creating their own experience. For golf fans there are 3 different 18 hole courses and a 18 hole mini golf course. Other activities include, tennis court, clay pigeon shooting, archery and a tree top adventure course. On site are gymnasium, pools, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna.

The main hotel itself has great views over Gwent and towards the Severn Bridge and England. The rooms are well designed with plenty of features for even well travelled people to enjoy. There are a large selection of places to eat and/or have a drink. Staff were a pleasure to talk to and we found each one knowledgeable and competent in their roles. Will definitely look to repeat the experience in the future as there was plenty left undone. The company has adopted a technological approach for booking of room service and on site restaurants. Similarly it is possible to make direct requests and calls for those uncomfortable using apps.

3 night stay - thoroughly enjoyed. Staff v attentive & well trained. Only reason for not putting 5 stars is service in the bars down stairs was incredibly slow. Fantastic stay. Health suites & gyms fabulous & well equipped. Food all very good.

Had a company awards evening. The room and set up where great and the 3 course meal was really nice. The hotels location offers amazing views over the local area from the rooms it's pretty special. Plenty of alternative parking though the car park up the hill can be awkward if your car is lower then normal. Overall a great evening and fantastic venue
