At the Claxton Hotel we are a friendly family run business, now third generation 'Brittain / Smith' family on Redcar's High Street since 1975! Directly overlooking the beautiful Seafront, Our aim is to offer a relaxing experience with excellent value for money! We are a pet friendly hotel, We welcome you to relax with your dogs in our lounge on an evening and also in a separate dining room for breakfast in the morning. We have 30 en-suite bedrooms, Two function rooms and a private lounge for residents to relax, enjoy a drink and look out across the sea.

We feel we are the best choice for your stay in Redcar, with our great reviews, free parking & Wifi and the great central location. As a smaller Family Run hotel we offer you that home away from home with our small team of experienced staff, We sometimes get very busy especially on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays so make sure you book in plenty of time.
