Called here for a drink and a sandwich, it was OK, friendly staff but the place is in need of a good makeover, sandwich was good and the local ale was as well. Nice views from the rear of the lounge.

Such a lovely stay enjoy every minute, the staff great, polite and very helpful the rooms are great very comfortable. The hotel is a few minutes walk to the lake and there are plenty of places to eat and drink if like us you are foodies. Have already recommended the Craig Manor to family and friends and we are hoping to go back again next month.

Did an overnight here when visiting Bowness. The room (302) was clean and spacious, with a good en-suite, comfy bed, and a lake view. Good freshly cooked to order hot breakfast, good service, friendly staff, and plenty of parking at the rear. A short walk into Bowness 5-10 mins to all the shops, bars, restaurants, Lake Windermere etc. Nothing not to like.

Good spot just on the outskirts of the centre of Bowness but only 5 minutes walk away. Place is nice and clean and rooms are spacious. Seemingly like all places in Windermere currently, they were struggling for staff so no food and bar is only open if it has customers.

Excellent breakfast, very friendly professional staff. Furnishings in the bar area are well past their best. Our room was on the top floor (roof space), limiting space in the bedroom, and making the bathroom very uncomfortable. The real issue was that we stayed for three nights, and the room was not serviced once!

Been coming here for years and we love it. This visit we had a huge room with a large comfy bed and bathroom. Breakfast was very good. Excellent value for money when you compare to some of the others in Bowness-On-Windermere

Great 2 night stay booked direct with the hotel, getting their winter retreat deal. Large and comfortable room. Seasonal treats on arrival were absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend and return
