If the star rating had a zero. Food was a few days old and reheated. Soup was very clumpy. Chicken was over cooked (dry), salmon was over cooked. Vegetables were soggy. No customer service. Very expensive for a yesterday's meal.

We went for a very COVID delayed afternoon tea and the reception was great, although we didn't get the drinks menu we asked for. The savoury elements were great but the deserts were far too sweet even for my taste. For two of us we only got one sheep sweet, would you only get 1/2 if one person went? No one came to see if we had enjoyed the tea and we were left to see ourselves out.

Absolutely amazing hotel. Stayed at the lake house and it was brilliant. The location was quiet and relaxing, the staff attentive and friendly, and the food was exceptional!

Excellent service from start to finish staff are friendly and helpful. Even the basic room was luxurious with everything you needed for a great stay, we even had chairs and table on patio. Certainly worth the money to spoil yourself.
