Great little hotel at a good price. I find the Best Western hotels good value and often interesting original properties. Good breakfast and comfortable bed. Brilliant for seeing the stunning Lichfield Cathedral and environs

It's ok, clean but just a little dated for us. The staff are nice and the beer is good. Can't say about the food as we did not eat there. It was a bed for the night which was comfortable to be honest. Could just do with bringing up to date a tad.

A lovely meal here, prices were good and the food was delicious. I had the blue cheese and bacon burger and my partner had the steak which was cooked to perfection. Lovely sides of skin on fries and chunky chips. Serving staff were polite and attentive but certainly not pushy. Would definitely recommend

I only stayed overnight but I found the George Hotel warm and friendly with helpful staff. There were a few flights of stairs to climb to me room with was cozy and very clean. And a great location within the shadow of the cathedral.
