Not stayed there yet but popped in to meet owner pending a group visit next year 2022. What a great guy. So obliging, open and honest. He showed me all the bedrooms, dining, lounge and bar. Can't wait to visit as a guest. Thank you Bill for your hospitalityand friendliness.

Yet another great week at the Hambledon Hotel hosted by Bill and Jackie. Great hosts, great food (the HB option is amazing), lovely clean spacious rooms and free on site parking. Would highly recommend a stay to everyone.

A very traditional type B&B. Very friendly owners who make sure everything runs smoothly. Immaculately clean. Excellent quality cooked breakfast. Did not eat the evening meals, but imagine they are also top notch. Just be aware that lift to sea may still be closed because of covid.

Yet another wonderful week on the Isle of Wight staying at the Hambledon Hotel. Owners, Bill and Jackie, have done so much to make staying there during these surreal times feel safe. Cleanliness, food and comfort were all to the usual high standards. We didn't think we would have a holiday this year so it was great to get away to a place we felt comfortable and assured that guidelines were being followed. We are regular visitors to the Hambledon Hotel and next year will be no different. See you soon Bill and Jackie - looking forward to another great week and more rubbish jokes!

2 star hotel, but should be at least 3 star. Bedroom was spotless, comfy bed, fresh smelling linen. Fresh towels daily. TV and clock radio in room. View of the sea. 5 minutes walk to the sea, either down ramp and steps. Or Lift available for 1.60 return. Food was delicious. Great hosts. Close to town centre. Restaurants pubs etc.

The Hambledon Hotel is a truly outstanding hotel. Bill & Jackie traet you as if you are one of their family and make you feel completely at home. The food is wonderful, and we mostly appreciate having the half board option as having to trek out every evening to find a restaurant to eat is not for us, especially as we have children. (and its an expensive exercise!) The hotel is clean, with nice rooms and its well located for the beach and also the town. We have no hesitation in recommending the Hambledon Hotel to anyone.
