What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 2pm, and check-out is by 11am. Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability and fees.
Do you offer parking facilities?
Yes, we provide secure off-street parking for £18 per night. Spaces are limited, so pre-booking is essential. Cars can be left until midday on Saturdays at no extra charge.
Is breakfast included in the room rate?
Breakfast is included with all hotel room bookings but optional for apartments. Our Yorkshire breakfast features local ingredients and caters to dietary requirements when pre-arranged.
Are pets allowed at Hedley House?
We accept dogs in designated rooms by prior arrangement. We recommend nearby riverside walks and ask guests to inform us in advance to ensure a comfortable stay for all.

Loved this hotel! lovely staff and made my stay very comfortable and my room was stunning loved every minute of my stay. Will definitely use this hotel again if I go back to York. Highly recommend anyone to choose here to stay 5 minute walk from town center to so win win all round. Thankyou to the staff for your hospitality xx

Lovely hotel with large rooms, within 10 min walking distance of York City centre and the Minster. Staff were all very friendly and so helpful. We will visit again and again if in York

Lovely and clean room. Friendly and welcoming staff. Great breakfast. Really close to city center, only 10 minutes walk. Shame the hot tub wasn't on! Would definitely recommend and book again!

Had a lovely weekend away at hedley for my wife's birthday, the hotel was a short walk from the train station and an even shorter walk into town. Room was fantastic and the bed was massive! Food in the hotel was excellent and the staff even more so! And I would recommend getting a massage as Emily worked wonders on my back! We will definitely be going back. Thanks for a pleasant stay guys.

From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't do enough for us, everyone was so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Greeted by smiling staff, the smell of home cooking and an immaculately clean hotel this place is just fabulous. We used the jacuzzi which was lovely with extra towels laid on for you, we had dinner there which was so fresh and beautiful as was breakfast. The only problem was we didn't stay long enough!
