Lifton Hall is a two star, Grade II listed building dating from the 16th Century that combines traditional character with modern refurbishments including wireless internet. Ideally situated for exploring the area, we are just 5 minutes from Thushel River and close to various lakes for fishing, and in season both shooting and hunting are available.

The old market town Launceston is only 5-10 minutes drive whilst both The Eden Project and the north coast can be reached within 45 minutes. Bodmin Moor and Dartmooor are under 30 minutes drive.

At the moment we are not open to the public on Sunday evenings and all day Monday - so the building will be a little quieter than normal.

Food is an essential part of the Lifton Hall experience; whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner you will enjoy freshly prepared and locally sourced meals. We serve freshly prepared and locally sourced, quality meals - with something to suit every taste and appetite. We strongly advise you to book a table.

Afternoon Tea

We are happy to accommodate any dietary requirements - please let us know when you make your booking. We serve our afternoon tea Wednesday to Saturday, between 2.30 and 4.30pm. Your visit has to be booked in advance, but if you call in the morning we can usually fit you in for that day. We also serve a classic cream tea - lovely homemade scones, sticky jam and Cornish clotted cream.
