We stayed here for 3 nights but wish we had booked longer now. Buxton itself is really lovely, there's lots to do and we enjoyed exploring the town and local area, we are planning to come back again and have already booked our stay at the Old Manse before we checked out! Lis and Neale are really welcoming and friendly. They have excellent knowledge of the local area. We stayed in one of the superior rooms and it was such a treat, really spacious and well furnished, they have clearly thought of everything you could possibly need for your stay.

The bed was super comfortable and HUGE! Breakfast is honestly the best we have had in any B&B and it's so refreshing to have dietary requirements properly catered for too! We tried something new each day and everything was so yummy. Looking forward to our returning visit see you soon!

We stayed at The Old Manse from October 6-10, 2021. Set on a quiet street. We enjoyed every single day of our stay. Neale and Lis, were one of the most pleasant hosts we have met on out travels. They made the Old Manse feel like home. Our room was very clean and had all we needed. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was lavish and was set in a picturesque room. If we had been on the "Four In A Bed" TV programme, we would have paid the full rate and extra.

The Guesthouse is in an Ideal central location for the town and a great base for Peak walking. Superb breakfasts with so much choice and the room has many extras. Nice and peaceful. The Guesthouse follows all current Covid guidelines.
