Ideally located small hotel, with a walled beer garden next to Stirling Castle. Small but very nice rooms with views, No3 has river Forth and William Wallace monument views. The food was fantastic with big portion sizes and the service from the hotel staff were excellent. Thank you very much!

I would not be returning here for the food. It was very basic and run of the mill. Atmosphere in the upstairs restaurant was dreary. Down stairs pub area has a better atmosphere. But I'd obit come here for a couple drinks, definitely eat some where else.

Great friendly service, beautiful, historical, interesting building and excellent value for money as food was very nice and portion sizes generous. We visited on Valentines day, the log fire was lit and there were fresh roses set out on the tables
