What a find this place is. Out in the sticks but that just adds to the peace and quiet. The room was excellent as was the food and drink. Bit limited if you are a veggy but otherwise really good. All is freshly prepared and delicious. Breakfast was a hit too. Friendly and efficient staff. Locals are a friendly bunch too. Will definitely be going back next time we are in the area.

Rooms are lovely and clean I slept like a log! Staff are friendly welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious and good portions.highly recommend the carvery!

What a lovely pub and accommodation. So homely and welcoming. The host, Eric, family and staff could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely food, especially enjoyed the generous carvery and breakfast. Really comfortable rooms as well.

Wow. Absolutely wonderful stay. We were made to feel welcome the minute we walked in, even after arriving three hrs late (accident on the M5). Friendly staff, lovely room, amazing food. Nothing but praise for this establishment. Thank you!

Great place to stay. Off the beaten track a bit - a piece of rural Somerset life. Quiet room once generators shut down for the night. Bijou room, comfy bed. Room doors a bit noisy - people can be so inconsiderate! Breakfast & meals good. Local produce. Very pleasant, obliging staff - nothing too much trouble. Have stayed here many rimes & always a pleasure.

Wednesday Carvery was a treat. We attended for a meal here recently for my partners bday lunch. We have never had a bad meal here in 17 years we've visited. Friendly staff and great choice of beers and spirits.the ambiance is traditional country pub love it
