Really good food, breakfast and dinner. Excellent staff and a lovely room although ours was ground floor with noisy neighbours above for a couple of nights tho that's not the hotels fault. The room would benefit from venetian type blinds to maintain privacy while keeping the window open for ventilation. I would be very happy to stay again.

Can't comment on the hotel aspect, only the restaurant. Food is good and reasonably priced. Quick service. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Toilets are kept very clean and restaurant is also maintained well.

Yet another great afternoon. This time I used the pub garden and had one of their wood fired pizzas, very tasty. I will be returning again soon. Awaiting confirmation of a booking.

Had the most Fabulous stay at the Selkirk Arms Hotel (2 nights) end May 2022 - the rooms are warm and comfortable, with the most Friendly staff offering the best service! The Food was outstanding and Chris (owner) ensured that my wife and me had the most Special time in Scotland serving up the best delicacies from the kitchen. The breakfast was the Best breakfast spread in our whole one month trip!
The restaurant is value-for-money and must be on every traveller's pit-stop and the pleasant ambience is something that draws you back for another visit! Well done to Chris & his team at the Hotel for keeping the place the Most Top Rated Hotel in Kirkcudbright! Thank you once again for offering us the Best Time of our trip! :)
