Our twenty five uniquely individual bedrooms, many of which are of Victorian proportions with dual or triple aspect windows, have refined Scottish overtones - a contemporary palette with Caledonian flashes. The Telegraph described it as 'understated tartanry' - and we like that. Period furniture mixed with chic textures, material and tones give a comfortably grand feel and stylish chic en-suites make for an indulgently relaxing stay. High ceilings and large windows are a striking feature of many of our rooms, giving views over the glorious woodland setting.

If you are looking for a touch of the 'Downton Abbey' vibe, then soak up the period charm, country house atmosphere and sublime comfort of our master rooms. As with all our rooms, you'll find each is individually designed. Most have multi aspect windows over the glorious woodlands and hotel grounds and four posters, sleigh beds, or beds simply so big you'll think you're both sleeping in a different postcode area!
