Excellent lunch and very dog friendly. Food/staff/service excellent. Chatted with landlady/owner who is a very pleasant lady indeed. Establishment very clean and would honestly frequent again if passing through town.

Has a lovely Christmas lunch here today. The atmosphere was very relaxed and cozy. The staff were amazing as usual and the food was spot on. 4 courses for 90 plus coffee and mince pies was well worth it.

Went in for afternoon tea after a special service in church. The staff were lovely and the scones were fab. Thank you. Highly recommend to anyone. Even had a gluten free tea without any problems!

Lovely clean hotel with a nice ambience. The food we had was superb - all local produce and cooked to perfection. Not too expensive either. Definitely recommend.

Good pub for food. Has small courtyard at back for eating in fresh air. Food served in the bar and separate restaurant as well. Lite bites and main menu, the ham eggs and chips are great, thick slices of local made ham and plenty of it. Fish and chips also very good. Will be visiting again soon.
