The Dragon House is a grade II listed former gentleman's residence, rumoured to have been built by smuggler brothers using proceeds from a ship wreck off nearby Blue Anchor Bay. Located in the hamlet of Bilbrook, on the edge of Exmoor National Park, The Dragon House is a great base for exploring West Somerset. We are just a short drive from the seaside resort of Minehead and the medieval village of Dunster with its very own castle! There are many fantastic walks nearby, both woodland and coastal as well as shooting, riding, cycling and our very own West Somerset Steam Railway.

With roaring log fires and your very own bar, the Dragon House makes a fantastic venue for family gatherings in the winter months.

There are an abundance of activities and places of interest within a short drive of The Dragon House. The stunning West Somerset coastline boasts some great beaches, most of which are dog friendly. There are several fantastic English Heritage and National Trust properties to visit as well as other places of interest such as Tarr Steps, an ancient clapper bridge thought to date back to 1000BC.
