Eversley village lies in the area straddling Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey; known locally as The Three Counties. It was the home of the Victorian writer and scholar the Reverend Charles Kingsley who in the nineteenth century wrote several childrens' books including The Water Babies and Westward Ho!

Tom Sweep is the young boy who in The Water Babies escapes his master, Mr Grimes, to find peace and enlightenment with the Water-babies he meets under the waves.

The Kingsley was built in the late 1800's for Charles' sister, Georgina Rose Kingsley. Her garden was a talking point in the neighbourhood - for its fine roses!

Located between the M4 and M3 motorways, The Kingsley at Eversley is an ideal base during your stay in the area. Peaceful yet convenient for Camberley, Farnborough, Aldershot, Reading, Basingstoke and Fleet. Heathrow airport is 30 minutes drive and trains from nearby Blackwater and Fleet connect with Gatwick, central London (Waterloo) and Southampton.

Absolutely amazing little get away. Peter and the team were very accommodating and welcomed me and my cat Milo. Breakfast served in my room. They could t have been more helpful. I will be booking again!

Nice staff, location was great for pubs and eating. WiFi was unuseable with a few people logged on, which isn't acceptable in 2021, especially when travelling on business. TV was inoperable, not that I cared much.

Fine if you just want B&B and nothing else. No bar or restaurant. Clean room and nice, though not huge, breakfast. TV in room inoperable.

Exactly what we needed for our first little get away and we were able to take the dog along too! Staff are very friendly, yummy breakfast in bed and lovely quiet area with great walks.

This is a great hotel to stay at. It was our first time away with our 2 dogs. They were very accommodating evening meal and breakfast served in our room at no extra cost. Our room was excellent very comfy bed. Tea and coffee making facilities. Access to garden which was handy in the morning. Park across the road. Would recommend this hotel.

Great friendly service and food is delicious. Very beautiful hotel. Made me feel special on my birthday and also had a birthday banner put up in our room. Was a great surprise Will definitely stay again. Thank you very much again.

I got here by mistake (happens when you have a corporate travel team, booking hotels for you). It's pretty far from most places of business, but if you are looking for some peace and quiet, this is the place for you! It's a small place, run out of a house, I think. The staff are extremely friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. My flight got delayed and it was midnight by the time I arrived, and being a small hotel, the manager most probably heads home early, but did wait up for me and did not comment about the delay at all. There are few things that need improvement like cobwebs in the room, but the bed is comfortable. The breakfast is good and coffee is served most of 5he time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kingsley. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was faultless and the breakfast included a lot of variety. We loved the central courtyard and the touches of Spanish culture around the hotel. We enjoyed our stay so much, we plan to revisit the hotel in the future. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.
