Our philosophy is simple; from the moment you arrive we want you to enjoy feeling totally relaxed and indulged. Our fabulous 1871 Bistro was created to complement our existing fine dining restaurant and benefits from a fantastic outlook over the Eden Valley with views of Appleby Castle to the Lake District fells in the distance.

From the North: Leave at Junction 40 of the M6, and take the second exit off the roundabout. From the East: Leave the A1 at Scotch Corner, follow A66 towards Penrith, take Appleby turn-off, follow road for two-thirds mile, first right, second left (Just before you go under an old railway bridge), follow road for quarter mile, Appleby Manor is on the left.

The Heelis Suite provides guests with luxurious hotel accommodation, it is the largest bedroom in the Hotel and, when the house was built, was the Billiards Room. The Heelis features a Super King sized bed, a 42 Plasma TV, a lovely lounge area with comfortable sofas for you to relax in along with tea and coffee facilities, espresso machine, Bluetooth DAB radio, robes, slippers and a complimentary newspaper.
