5/5 stars we stayed at East Turret and the rooms were very clean, neat and organised. The view from the bedroom was amazing and we slept like a baby. Location is in a nice quiet area, yet close to the centre with a view onlooking the lake. Food really deserved it's reputation as it was one of the best breakfast we've had at any hotel or restaurant.

Only stayed one night, but would have happily stayed for a few more. The room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially during the lovely breakfast which is included with the price of the room.

Fantastic hotel with lovely decor throughout, central to the town centre shops, restaurants, etc. The staff go above and beyond. The breakfasts are tasty and well cooked and the choice is extremely good. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Highfield.

On arrival to our room, the views down Derwent water set the scene for a very pleasant stay. Very good breakfast to start our day and all members of staff were very attentive at all times. A very nice location and a pleasure to have stayed here.
