The Ayre Hotel is one of Orkney's finest hotels and is situated in the principal town of Kirkwall. We aim to provide a friendly & professional service to make your stay in Orkney as comfortable & enjoyable as possible. Our newly developed annexe houses 6 one-bedroom apartments and 3 two-bedroom apartments, all with a spacious layout and high quality furnishings.

There is a dedicated car park for guests and free Wi-Fi in all accommodation. The hotel's restaurant and bar is open daily, serving lunches from 12 (noon) till 2pm and evening meals from 6pm-9pm.

We have single rooms with double size bed, doubles, compact double rooms, super king and twin rooms. Twin rooms have two single beds and our compact rooms have slightly less floor space. Some of the rooms have a sea view looking out over Kirkwall harbour. All rooms are en-suite with a clean and modern bathroom.
