We aim to provide full taste foods which means "fresh, natural and nutritious". As far as practicable, we source all our food from local organic/traditional farmers and seek line caught local fish. All eggs are local/free range organic. Our meats are from Galloway free roaming grass fed animals. Depending on weather conditions, Afternoon Teas, High Teas and Champagne Teas are served in the Main Dining Room or the Bay View lawn. The "Alexander Room" is dedicated to fine food and may be booked for more formal private and special occasions.

Our well stocked cellars aim to provide guests with a choice of good quality wines from across the globe including; Argentina, Australia, Austria, Chile, China, English southern counties, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lebanon, New Zealand, Portugal, South Africa, Switzerland, Spain, USA. We select our wines for value for money labels in the mid to high end quality range. For guests interested in wine we will from time to time be arranging Wine Dinners and talks from selected producers.

The tranquil and relaxing setting of Balcary Bay provides an ideal setting for Health and Wellness services. Health talks, Yoga Classes and naturopathic therapeutics are planned for 2021 with "immunity boosting" traditional Finnish Sauna, Infra Red Sauna and Steam Aromatherapy log cabin planned for 2021/22.
