Went for a bite for lunch on bank holiday Monday. Service was prompt and polite. The food was fresh, tasty and priced well. Their beer garden is great. We had it to ourselves and made the most of it.

Yep, this place is certainly ok to rest your head. Room was large, bright and well appointed for the money. Breakfast was good, quick and hot. Bar and other areas looked good, garden really decent. Whilst not the Ritz, better than many and very good value, even cheap by comparison.

First visit for a birthday celebration meal and we weren't disappointed. Lovely place, the food was excellent, the staff were very attentive, friendly and polite. We were very pleasantly surprised with the final bill after four 3 course meals and drinks. The only downside, which was of no fault of the restaurant, was the noisy child that was being allowed to run around screaming while the father was propping up the bar. We will definitely visit again when we are visiting again and would recommend to anyone.

We had our wedding ceremony here. Friendly helpful staff. Room was set out beautifully and the garden out the back was perfect for our photographs. Highly recommend
