A lovely hotel in an historic building. Very helpful friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything needed for a short stay. We had a delicious evening meal in the restaurant. A generous breakfast was included in the price. Overall an enjoyable stay.

I stayed here a few weeks ago, whilst working in the area, and couldn't have been more welcome. I was in one of the larger rooms, which was very comfortable but retained the feeling of history that the whole hotel has. The food was good, and reasonably priced, and I enjoyed a nice pint. Parking is a little tight, and there could be some street noise, but this is a quiet village. Overall, a most enjoyable stay, which is not always the case when away working.

Very nice hotel and restaurant. The staff was very nice. The food is delicious! I had the possibility to have a gluten free burger and also the bread for the breakfast was GF. I really recommend it. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I hope to come back. The only negative thing is that breakfast starts at 7.30.so if you are on holiday it's not a big deal but if you are there for work then it will be complicated.
