Wonderful hotel, friendly staff, quality rooms and excellent food. Cosy bar and great restaurant serving quality food in generous portions. And to top it all, its in a fabulous location to explore either the Lake District or Yorkshire Dales. We have stayed several times and will do so again

Had lunch at Crooklands today. From start to finish the service and food was absolutely brilliant. Every single meal, there were 5 of us, was outstanding, presented beautifully and polished off. After my last meal there I swore never to go to Crooklands again, I am very glad that I did.

Good food. Could do with putting something up on entrance to state closing early and not serving food after a certain time due to private function. This was 3 weeks ago and they had something on!

We stayed at the Crooklands 7/6/22 following my son's small wedding earlier in Kendal, 19 of us plus 1 child and 1 dog for a meal with half the party staying the night. From initial booking to check out this morning I cannot recommend this place enough, the food was amazing, rooms were immaculate and the customer service was second to nome. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks for having us

Are there.was advised we would have to book but we turned up after spending a couple of days in windermere and they were very welcoming.meal was great however a couple of locals made us feel very unwelcome and overheard him telling waiter we were probably from the country fest we were sat in your dog friendly area but went outside in the end.not good for your business!

Only eat here. Sunday lunch is tasty and value for money. Evening meal even when they have your order wrong the staff quickly put it right and apologise for the error. Highly recommend Thanks to all the bar and restaurant staff
