Okay, upfront it looks great but as is usual in the UK, the beds are made for people no taller than 5'9/6'0 (I'm 6'4) and the blanket will cover you (not me) but only if you lie flat on your back. (Luckily I had my sleeping bag handy). What was a downside was the black mold on the shower head and the dust on places that are probably not in direct sight. Also the walls are made of rather thin material so, you will hear the next door guest rummaging around and his/her snoring (if applicable. It was)

Afternoon tea with ex work colleagues. Absolutely lovely, loads to eat, lots of top ups with tea, great cocktails and mocktails. Home with a doggy bag too.

Always have a lovely meal here. Staff efficient and friendly. Menu doesn't change very often but we stick with out favourites anyway. Desert menu very limited and would.like to see more options

Went for a pre-booked afternoon tea yesterday and found it excellent. On arrival the table was already laid out with coffee cups, a jug of milk, and a bowl of crisps. The food consisted of a good choice of high quality savoury and sweet treats, and plentiful enough that we ended up taking some home because we could not eat it all. The service was friendly and attentive, and coffee and tea replenished when requested. An all round pleasant and enjoyable experience.
