Yeah, let's get to it. High prices in a high priced neighborhood. Traveling on business I was greeted with an inoperable television, empty facial tissues, stained carpets, stained headboard, "leavings" on the refrigerator, soiled coffee maker, no soap dish, no peep hole cover, no iron, no bathroom outlet for a hair dryer/curling iron and I'm hoping that the mess on the wall is toothpaste. So.this may be a 4 star in the UK but this would struggle to be 3 stars in the states. If you want to portray yourself as sophistication and elegance while your guests sleep against stained headboards and walk on soiled carpets you should expect reviews like this.

We had such a lovely stay at the Mandeville for 5 nights! The staff is so accommodating and the check in process was easy. Our room was the perfect size, with a large bathroom, nice coffee and tea facilities, and lovely furnishings. It was quiet and well located, with many great shops and cafes nearby as well as Regents Park. Would recommend to anyone visiting and looking for a great smaller hotel!

Very nice hotel overall. The location is perfect. It happens to be in a very ideal, desirable and walkable section of the city that's very busy, yet somehow the street it's on seems very quiet and relaxed. Awesome restaurants and coffee just outside of the front door. The room was small but the bed was way more cozy than I expected. The bathroom wasn't great. No shower curtain, only a glass half wall thing so water got everywhere every time.

The bathroom door was frosted glass. The person I was traveling with isn't a romantic partner, so this was pretty awkward. I don't know who on earth would prefer a glass bathroom door to something solid. I guess I value privacy pretty strongly. The desk associates were very nice and attentive. Skip the restaurant. There are far better ones just down the street. We still had a great time staying here.

Ideal location for an overnight stay close to appointment venue the following day. Hotel staff are excellent, polite and patient, that's everyone from the housekeeping to reception and concierge. Room service dinner was delightful. The hotel and room were spotless, the room spacious, quiet, good facilities and I couldn't wish for a better stay. I have absolutely NO complaints. I would definitely stay here again for further business and pleasure trips. Thank you to all

Went here for an afternoon tea given to me as a gift. The service from the staff is exceptional and the tea was excellent with far more sandwiches and cakes than we could eat. Would thoroughly recommend.

My wife and I have stayed in this hotel 3 times in the last 12 months during trips into London. Each time the hotel staff have gone out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is beautiful, classy without being pretentious.
