This family run business is based approximately 1 mile from Waverley Station and Princes Street on an excellent bus route. The hotel over looks the historic Leith Links where the rules of golf were drawn up and where Mary Queen of Scots learnt the game.

We had a very nice stay at Merith House Hotel. The room was very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The hotel is in a very nice location - right near two bus stops, some nice places to eat and a Tesco. Stayed for 3 nights, single room with en suite. Absolutely brilliant value, clean, comfortable and great welcome and attention from staff.
