Our historic main house dates back to the 18th Century, and still contains original features from that era.
Other parts of our hotel retain their features from their former farming days in the 17th Century. Nestled in acres of park land, we offer a stunning venue filled with character and charm. We provide 14 en-suite bedrooms with Freeview television, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. All guests have access to our complimentary WiFi throughout the property. Our bar menu is comprised of homemade quality dishes, and our bar offers a variety of beverage options to ensure nobody goes thirsty. We are a pet-friendly hotel, and whilst dogs are not permitted in our restaurant, they are welcome in our bar area.

Cooked Breakfast
All our room bookings include a cooked Full English breakfast, served daily from 7:30am to 9:00am. This offering ensures every guest begins their day with a satisfying and wholesome meal. We cater to both leisure and business travellers seeking a comfortable and memorable stay.
Buffets
We offer a selection of buffet options for catered wakes and celebrations of life. To support families during these times, we waive our room hire fee for up to two hours. This service provides a compassionate and practical solution for hosting gatherings in a respectful environment.
Pet-Friendly Stays
We are a pet-friendly hotel, ensuring guests can bring their beloved dogs along for their stay. Whilst dogs are not permitted in our restaurant, they are warmly welcomed in our bar area. This service allows families to enjoy a relaxing getaway without leaving their pets behind.

My Daughters wedding was held in the Barn 28/5/22 The staff where so helpful right from the start and the Bar Staff where absolutely brilliant on the night. Wouldn't hesitate to use this venue again. Good job and well done to Ruth and her staff. 10 out 10

I arranged a 90th Birthday lunch for my great aunt who lives in Lowestoft. I had to book several rooms of varying types and requirements over two nights. I was also managing the lunch orders. There were lots of amendments leading up to the event, even adding then cancelling rooms and meal for two people the day before. This was all taken in the stride of Ruth (the owner) and her team with no extra charge for last minute cancellations.
The hotel is "traditional" in a good way for me, though some may think it slightly "quaint". The rooms were spotless, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was great, local produce and piping hot. The birthday lunch for 13 guests was faultless Very nice grounds and great for dog owners whilst not disturbing non- pet owning guests. I would like to give 4.5 score really. The only two very minor observations were the bar food on Saturday night was "reasonable" and the hotel itself is set back from a main road with no pavement so a car/ taxi (just 10 into Lowestoft on a Sunday) is required to get to local amenities

We had our wedding in their Barn 15/02/22 and the staff were brilliant. So accommodating and flexible, they were truly amazing and made the process of wedding planning as stress free as possible!
