I can't say enough good things about my experience in this hotel. The Staff were top notch, the rooms and decor were immaculate, the theme was felt throughout, and the children's add on package was very well received by my children. The only negative thing to note is it's a bit of a maze with a stroller with steps but that is easily forgiven when the breakfast had full vegetarian English breakfast, the gym was thematically done, and everyone was exceptionally kind. I will come back again.

We had an amazing experience! Hotel is super well decorated, we got a family suite with plenty of space for the 4 of us, service is spectacular with a highlight for Bianca from the front desk. Location is great an also the room service has great quality and fast.

Charming hotel with a great bar and wonderful atmosphere. The room was small but very tastefully designed and pristinely clean. It's slightly pricey but that's London for ya

The rooms here were lovely, and the location was top notch for the area, but for the price we paid, I would have expected a lot more. The front desk staff were very good, and when we had the unfortunate experience of our shower drain being blocked, they moved us into another room late at night immediately. Issues with facilities happen, but the way it was dealt with was great. The issue which brought the whole stay down was the breakfast service which was a shame because part of the reason we booked the that they are known for their great food.

If you do stay, don't eat here and go out to any of the lovely London cafes! The service was incredibly slow, they didn't get the order right on either day, the manager was running around yelling at the staff as if the place was on fire! But it was half empty and no one was getting served. You could forgive this if the food was amazing, but it was mediocre. burnt toast, cold eggs and slightly stale pastries. It brought down the whole stay for me. I think you could pay half the price in the same area for an equal if not better experience.

My husband and I had afternoon tea at the Holmes hotel and the only great part about it was the service (the staff are very attentive and professional). I decided to book the tea time based on some online blogs recommending this "unique" experience, which included a mystery that you would solve while having your tea and food. I firmly believe the Holmes Hotel must have paid for those blog reviews because in no way was it unique or entertaining. you solve a super easy riddle provided on a postcard and. that's it.

It was a lazy disgrace of a good idea. The tea and food were fine but more expensive than others in their class (for example, the Peter Pan themed afternoon tea on the 32nd floor of The Shard was of similar price but was a million times more unique, given the height/views and the truly impressive tea presentation). Additionally, the area you are served tea in is a re-purposed waiting room that was frequently trafficked by service members as a through-way to their various points of work. Overall, would not recommend.
