We went to the Talbot bar for drinks after a walk. Lovely spot and the garden is a sun trap. Be warned that like many places in the Lakes at the moment they are running reduced hours and service due to staff shortages. The bar didn't open for non residents until 5.

Called in yesterday for a look around and to take some photographs. The hotel and grounds are well appointed and the staff were friendly and helpful. Next time I'll spend more time here and have a meal.

Stayed here for two nights and I can't recommend it enough location is perfect for plenty of walks straight from the hotel! staff are really friendly and made me and even more so my dog very welcome. Breakfast is outstanding and so much to choose from continental and cooked! We would 100% stay here again next time we come that way!
