We stayed two nights in a Deluxe room. Lucy who greeted us at the entrance was very nice and easy to talk to. The room was clean and tidy. Fully stocked tea, coffee and biscuits with the hot drink making facilities. The bed was nice and big, also very comfortable. Spacious shower cubicle and the shower head sits tall enough to accommodate particularly tall people, as I'm 6'3. Aesthetically downstairs has quite a traditional pub/inn feel to it, which is nice.
The only thing that needs attention is the food. The food sounded great on the menu but what came out was quite basic in quality. Frozen spicy chicken breasts, microwaved ribs etc. We were just hoping for a little more quality considering the prices! All in all we had a quite a pleasant stay.

Friendly staff, good food and welcoming environment. This is a pie and chips pub, restaurant, hotel and what it does it does very well. Gourmet it is not but there's always The White Buck at twice the price up the road if that's what's desired. Courteous, homely and great service Highly recommend

Staff were friendly, helpful & very knowledgeable about the local area. Room was clean, spacious & comfortable. Local area is very beautiful with pubs, cafes, shops & scenic walks nearby. Food at the hotel was delicious with good veggie & vegan options. The one thing I would improve is access to recycling as I did ask staff but there wasn't any available on site. Highly recommend staying here.

Very friendly staff and a varied menu (a couple of nice vegan options). Very quiet on this particular Saturday evening, but a great spot to have some local beers/ciders and relax after a days walking. Great location in the centre of Burley, and open later than other pubs in the area.
